Sande Rainey is defined through her own art. She expresses her creativity on how she sees fit. She has a clean aesthetic to her work. She has won awards for her work with one being national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. In her childhood, she had complete freedom to think whatever she felt. As she grew older her family put her through a lot and this has made her stronger. It made her the artist she is today. As an adult, Sande looks back on her childhood and finds beauty in the imperfections. Nature is one of the many subjects to capture, as we see it at all the time. She likes to depict these simple things and make them interesting. Sande connects with all kinds of arts. She uses her art as her inspiration to express herself as she thinks about this time in her life and what lies ahead.
